Dr. Jason Hunt

Jason Hunt began his martial arts career in 1985 and has been actively training in various arts since that time. He is the founder of Shinja Martial Arts University and Shinja Krav-Jitsu, recognized as a 10th Degree Black Belt through Seibukan Bujutsu, Ltd., World Organizer of Martial Arts, Original European JuJitsu Union and Ichi Kuni Goshin Jiu-Jitsu amongst many others. He also holds black belt ranks in Ju Jitsu, Krav Maga, Kenpo and Hapkido.

Originally founded as a Youth Outreach Ministry in 2001, Shinja Martial Arts quickly expanded and organized itself as a leader in providing Christian Martial Arts Education programs through home study; fellowship meetings and online learning communities. Now, with well over 1000 members world-wide, Shinja Martial Arts continues to be recognized as a world leader in Christian based martial arts.

Jason is an ordained pastor and leads Kingdom Harvest Ministries; an evangelism driven ministry that helps families and communities throughout the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky and Tennessee. He continues to train in Krav Maga under Moshe Katz.

He continues to serve the SMAU as an advisor to the President, John Enger.
